So I'm reading this book by Anna Sofia & Elizabeth Botkin, its called 'Its (not that) Complicated.

Hey, again. I wanted just to say something about the Hunger Games.

 Honestly, if you like it, you're not horrible. I just want to make you think about what you're reading. Also, some people might say, 

 "Hey Willow! You like violent stuff too! You watch Lord of the Rings! Star Wars! Indiana Jones!" I admit, I do like ACTION ADVENTURE! Not just violence. Plus I watch it on Clearplay.

 Also, the theme of the movies are not kids killing kids, but grownups trying to do something. Just wanted to clear that up.

On a lighter note, here is an Elven LOTR necklace from Amazon.

Lord of the Rings Thoughts

   One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

I know it 'tis a bit creepy, but it's not too creepy. If you think that's creepy, you should see the 'Ringwraith' people. Lets just say you would not want to meet them on a dark road at night. Actually, to be quite frank, you would not want to meet them at all, period. [Slight Spoiler], the Ringwraith people are the 'Nine Mortal Men doomed to die'. They are pretty scary. They look like the Grim Reaper, minus the scythe. They also make this strange screeching noise. 'Tis enough to make you sleep watching the door while holding a stick. [I know that sounds violent, but seriously].

 Or a sword. Maybe that would be a better idea.

The Hobbit Movie

      Yes!!! It's FINALLY here! It's

Yes, you've heard me correctly. I have it from trusted sources{my Dad & Wikipedia} that there will be TWO new installments of 'The Lord of the Rings'. Two? Yes two. The first one will be called 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' & 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again'. We just finished reading The Hobbit, so we're very excited about this new movie. But of course, we'll have to wait 'till it comes out.

 We have not read the other books, so we have not seen the other movies.

 My parents tell me that they are quite a bit gory and scary, but we will read the books first, then decide. We will watch it with Clearplay of course, but still.

New Background!

Hey, guys. I know you might boycott me after reading my last post, but no one seems to be reading this blog anyway. Anyhow, I hope you think that the new background is cool. Its the 'One Ring' from Lord of the Rings.

 We're reading 'The Hobbit', so we're looking forward to watching all of the LOTR movies, after we read the books, of course. If you have any arguments with me about the Hunger Games thing, feel free to argue and try to prove your point.

The {Horrible} Hunger Games

                  The World Will Be Watching.

Oh the joy. Can't you feel it? To watch a movie where someone gets a spear stuck in their body. Or get attacked by wolf things. Or just plain kill them violently. Must I go on? No, I am not a HG fan. Or a Harry Potter fan. Or a Twilight fan. I actually mostly highly dislike all of those things.

It just bugs me when people rave about them. I must say, I do like Star Wars a LOT, but I don't like the creepy scenes where someone is killed. I hate it when people get killed. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Ugh. I feel insanely sorry for those poor teenagers in that evil arena. They have to kill each other? Good grief! I don't really mind the concept of the Hunger Games. I mean, the game thing. But instead of killing everybody, can't they all take over the government or something? She{Suzanne Collins}should have saved them all. Not they all be viciously murdered

 Yeah, my Mother won't let me read them. And I agree with her. I like ACTION ADVENTURE, not violent, gory, disgusting not-adventure. Ick. And I'm 14! Most of you who are going to watch this are probably younger than me if you're reading this blog. I think your parents need to read a review for these movies.


Here is a awful excerpt from the book, taken from a review,

"Cato lies on his side at the very top of the horn, twenty feet above the ground, gasping to catch his breath.... Now's my chance to finish him off. I stop midway up the horn and load another arrow, but just as I'm about to let it fly, I hear Peeta cry out. ...the mutts are right on his heels. 'Climb!' I yell....
"The mutts are beginning to assemble. As they join together, they raise up again to stand easily on their back legs giving them an eerily human quality. Each has a thick coat, some with fur that... vary from jet black to what I can only describe as blond. There’s something else about them, something that makes the hair rise up on the back of my neck...
"Then one of them...with silky waves of blond fur takes a running start and leaps onto the horn. Its back legs must be incredibly powerful because it lands a mere ten feet below us, its pink lips pulled back in a snarl. For a moment it hangs there, and in that moment I realize what else unsettled me about the mutts. The green eyes glowering at me are unlike any dog or wolf, any canine I’ve ever seen. They are unmistakably human. ... The blonde hair, the green eyes, the number ... it’s Glimmer [one of the dead Tributes]. I fire into its throat. Its body twitches and flops onto the ground... And there, the ashen hair and hazel eyes of the boy from District 9 who died as we struggled for the backpack! And worst of all, the smallest mutt, with dark glossy fur, huge brown eyes.... Teeth bared in hatred. Rue! [She was a sweet, twelve-year-old girl before she was killed]...

Does that sound good to you? Uh, no. Not in a million years.

Also, in the rather violent movies that we{my sister and I}are allowed to watch, we watch it on Clearplay. It's this DVD player that takes out all the swear words, the grosser gory parts, the extra-scary parts, that kinda thing.
                            
                             It's called maintaining innocence.
